Innocent dream

Imran Khan's personality has charismatic and magnetic attraction.  They also use the latest means of communication in an effective way to spread their message. On Wednesday, they used the space facility of Twitter. In this regard, they set new records for the viewers.  ۔

At the moment I don't want to get bogged down in the debate over how the dialogue with people from all over the world through social media affects the realities of practical politics in Pakistan.  His name is Eric Zemmour.  He is of Jewish descent but considers himself the sole defender of the so-called French civilization. He considered Islam to be the ultimate enemy of the said civilization.  Through his articles, he has persuaded a large number of white farm Frenchmen that Muslims from former French colonies such as Tunisia and Algeria are moving to Europe under a well-thought-out plan.  They do not act. Instead of looking for employment, they rely on government benefits. The government also provides them with affordable housing and free medical care.  They are bound to eventually become the majority in France. Once a possible majority is found, they will enforce "Sharia" in France, which is considered a historical symbol of secularism and liberalism.

Zimmer's books sell for record numbers. TV channels are eager to invite him to talk on their programs because of the lust for ratings.  He became a candidate in the election. However, he did not get more than 8% of the vote.  Trump's appeal in the United States remains intact despite losing the presidential election. The majority of his fans are confident that he will stand again in the 2024 election and become the President of the United States with a clear majority.

Imran Khan has also enchanted the minds of his fans by using the dynamics of social media with great skill.  Sahib was not removed from the PM's post through a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly.  In fact, the United States was alarmed by his independent foreign policy. Washington eventually hatched a conspiracy to oust him from power and key figures in Pakistan's powerful institutions became its facilitators.

Due to the beating of the drum of American conspiracy, there is no discussion in our traditional and social media about the style of government of Imran Khan from August 2018 to April 2022. Whether he proved to be helpful in making the society stable and happy or not.  Whether the daily life of the common man has improved or not. Even the political opponents of PTI have not been able to raise these questions effectively. The message given by Imran Khan is echoing everywhere.

Thanks to his aggressive behavior and skillful use of the media, Imran Khan has now instilled in the minds of his fans that he has inherited a "Glastra" system.  In order to ensure strict accountability, it was necessary for them to have powers like the Sultans.  "Thieves and looters" would not return to power.

Our middle class has been using the decades-long desire for "strict accountability" to create the impression that a parliamentary system only brings "thieves and looters" to power in countries like Pakistan.  ۔  This is the "Anglo-Saxon" system. It can work in the UK but not in Pakistan which is special in its composition due to being "Islamic".

Blaming the parliamentary system for their shortcomings, Imran Khan and his fans forget the fact that Bangladesh is also an Islamic country. When it was part of Pakistan, it was very poor and backward.  For at least three decades, the "beggar's cup" remained visible.  Its founder Sheikh Mujeeb-ur-Rehman also wanted to be the president with full authority. He was assassinated by the military coup.  After that, there was an attempt to run Bangladesh through martial law for many years. After going through all sorts of experiments, we finally had to settle for a parliamentary system and these days, Bangladesh's growth rate is the highest in South Asia.  India, the largest country in the region in terms of population, has not been able to compete in this regard.

Turkey's Erdogan also flourished in his country while remaining within the limits of parliamentary democracy. After this flourishing, he turned to the presidential system.  It's done.  Its "sultanate" but now Turkey is beginning to push towards economic turmoil and misery.

Fans of Imran Khan, however, will not pay any attention to the above mentioned facts.  If left, his party will return to power with a two-thirds majority.  Taking advantage of the expected majority, Imran Khan will make our system presidential instead of parliamentary.  With perfect powers, "President Imran Khan" will easily ensure strict accountability.  The dream that is being seen is very innocent in the eyes of me. I wish it could be interpreted.
